Stream Data Centers Commissions New Hyperscale Data Center in Garland, TX: Stream Data Centers, an industry leader in providing premium data center solutions, announces the formal commissioning of its newly constructed DFW VII hyperscale data center in Garland, TX. With this 138,000 square foot facility, Stream has positioned itself to meet ongoing demand for colocation and connectivity solutions from enterprises and hyperscale cloud providers in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. The Dallas Fort-Worth area is the second largest data center market in the US and continues to attract enterprises and cloud providers with affordable power rates, tax incentives and an environment safe from natural disasters. Key features of Stream’s DFW-VII facility include a 138,132 square feet of purpose-built, structurally enhanced data center, expandable to approximately 400,000 square feet; two 40 MW utility feeds from a new on-site Oncor substation; two diverse telco entrances with multiple fiber providers and a strong mix of local, long haul and dark fiber providers; and a location outside the FEMA 500-year flood plain.

INNIO Launches Fast-Start 3-Megawatt Natural Gas Generator Solution for Data Centers: INNIO Jenbacher has announced the launch of its new Jenbacher J620 fast-start natural gas generator for data centers. Everstream Investing $27 Million USD in Milwaukee Fiber Network: Everstream has announced its expansion into the greater Milwaukee area with the construction of two fiber rings that encircle the western suburbs and touch the western part of downtown Milwaukee. The first 172 network miles will be lit in November. By the end of 2020, the network will encompass more than 560 miles, creating a dense metro network covering the greater Milwaukee area. The Milwaukee expansion deepens Everstream’s overall Midwest footprint. Everstream is dedicated to building an enterprise-grade fiber network to support Milwaukee and its businesses as they scale and grow in the coming years. Its network buildout includes the construction of new small cell sites to provide high-bandwidth connectivity to the city and businesses. This will also deliver the increased bandwidth and data required to support the upcoming DNC.
Nutanix Partners With Hardis Group to Deliver Innovative IoT Solution for Supply Chain Operations: Nutanix has announced a partnership with Hardis Group, a consulting, digital services and software publishing company, to deliver Vision Insights powered by Xi IoT, an innovative solution to manage supply chain operations efficiency. Available now, Vision Insights powered by Xi IoT is a supply chain optimization solution comprised of Hardis Group Vision Insights software running as a container on the Nutanix Xi IoT platform.
