OneNeck IT Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of Telephone and Data Systems, Inc., employing nearly 550 people throughout the US, has signed a multi-year contract with Wisconsin-based Rogers Behavioral Health. As part of the agreement, OneNeck will provide hosted private cloud services and colocation space at its “top-tier” data center in Madison, Wisconsin.
Rogers Behavioral Health is dedicated to the delivery of “quality care, using a skilled team approach that respects the dignity of each individual.” For more than 110 years, Rogers has been providing thousands of patients a place to turn when struggling with mental disorders or addiction.
Based in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, Rogers Behavioral Health has three hospital campuses in the Milwaukee area, along with outpatient centers throughout Wisconsin and sites in Chicago, Minneapolis, Nashville, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Tampa with four new sites slated to open by the end of 2019
With this new partnership in place, the IT team at Rogers would be able to turn their attention toward growth-based IT initiatives and new services to best support patients.
“This new partnership will provide us the opportunity to focus on our clinical technology needs that have a bigger impact on service to patients,” said Adam El-Ali, VP of Clinical Technology Services at Rogers Behavioral Health. “We have very talented employees who have been consumed with the day-to-day operation of our IT environment. Teaming up with OneNeck allows our highly-skilled team the chance to shift gears and center their attention on improving our patients’ overall experience.”
Managed Services Expertise
A cornerstone of this partnership is Rogers’ ability to rely on OneNeck to provide a comprehensive hosted and managed IT environment. This includes leveraging the managed services expertise of OneNeck’s employees, along with the company’s enterprise-grade ReliaCloud hosted private cloud solution.
“We selected OneNeck because they offered a cost-competitive solution with a great team of experienced IT professionals,” added Mr. El-Ali. “Plus, they are local, so we can meet face-to-face or drop by the data center at any time.”
“Together, we worked with Rogers Behavioral Health to understand their needs, then developed a cloud-first plan,” said Jim de la Pena, VP of Sales at OneNeck. “The plan includes consolidating and centralizing servers to leverage economies of scale while maintaining the highest degree of security, redundancy, and reliability. This strategy offers Rogers long-term flexibility and scalability as their organization grows.”
