Airtel Susbsidary Nxtra Data Limited announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation to set up two new data center campuses in the state. The two new facilities will be situated in Pune and Mumbai. Nxtra Data Limited, already runs two huge data centers in Maharashtra. Moreover, the company has several Edge data centers in Mumbai, Navi Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Nagpur & Kolhapur.
10 Massive Data Centers and Over 120 Edge Data Centers
Nxtra, Bharti Airtel’s subsidiary gives safe and secure data center services to prominent Indian and global enterprises, hyperscalers, start-ups, Small and Medium Enterprises, and governments. Nxtra’s nation-wide portfolio of 10 massive data centers and over 120 edge data centers present clients with cloud infrastructure, managed hosting, co-location services, backup of data, failure or disaster recovery, and remote management of infrastructure.
Lately, The Caryle Group via its entities declared an investment of USD 235 mn for a 25% stake in Nxtra at a post-money estimate of USD 1.2 bn.
