Liquid Web Acquires ‘The Events Calendar’ a Popular WordPress Plugin

Managed hosting and cloud services provider Liquid Web declared that it has acquired the popular WordPress plugin ‘The Events Calendar‘ from Modern Tribe. The cloud service provider firm stated that they are thrilled to be able to work with The Events Calendar team that offers WordPress plugins besides the top-tier client support.

The WordPress calendar plugin has over 800k active installations. Its wide range of products incorporates tools for managing virtual events, community calendars, online ticket sales, email marketing, etc. The company was established in 2009 and since then it has introduced numerous products that make event management effortless.

With this acquisition, Liquid Web will become a better player in the digital commerce space. The users will also be benefitting from the new approaches to generate revenue.
