Another domain investors who is showing up a lot in one extension is Top.Domains. Top.Domains has rung up 17 of the 77 reported .app domain name sales in 2021. .App had been running about a third of .xyz in terms of number of sales and dollar volume in 2021.
Rush.app is the highest sale at $16,000, followed up by Peekaboo.app at $6,499.
Google paid $25 million for ‘.app’
The top .app sale is NFT.app at $50,000. It’s listed for sale on OpenSea.io. As a NFT.
Once bought, this NFT unlocks access to domain auth code which can then be used to transfer ownership of NFT.APP domain name.
