SherWeb Releases Blueprint for Cloud Server Resellers to Build a Hosted Version of QuickBooks

SherWeb, a Canadian cloud hosting provider founded in 1998, has released a blueprint to help its resellers build a hosted version of QuickBooks for their clients using its ‘Performance Cloud Servers.’ Intuit’s QuickBooks operates in the small business market, sized at approximately 29 million businesses in the U.S. alone, while it claims to have more than 80% market share with small businesses that use financial management software.

QuickBooks Hosting is run on a Remote Desktop solution powered by SherWeb’s Performance Cloud. This solution allows companies to run a virtual desktop that can be accessed by any employee from anywhere and on any mobile device.

Guillaume Boisvert, Product Director for SherWeb’s Performance Cloud, said a hosted QuickBooks solution from SherWeb has many advantages users won’t find in an online version. This includes flexible pricing (you pay only for the resources used), free, extra features and SherWeb’s 24/7 technical support.

QuickBooks Hosting powered by Performance Cloud Servers would be a great sales opportunity for SherWeb’s 4,000-member partner channel, according to Mr. Boisvert.

“As we were examining our partners’ offers, we noticed that QuickBooks hosting kept coming back as a pressing client need,” said Mr. Boisvert. “We want to help our partners present their clients with a best-of-breed solution that can be deployed quickly, reliably and that is priced to match their reality. The early response to this initiative has been great.”

SherWeb currently has more than 25,000 customers in more than 100 countries that would benefit from the added value of its wide range of SaaS, IaaS and PaaS solutions.
