VeriSign, Inc. (NASDAQ: VRSN) reported fourth quarter and full year 2021 results.
They reported revenue of $340 million for the fourth quarter of 2021, up 6.3 percent from the same quarter in 2020. Verisign reported net income of $330 million and diluted earnings per share (diluted “EPS”) of $2.97 for the fourth quarter of 2021, compared to net income of $157 million and diluted EPS of $1.38 for the same quarter in 2020. The operating margin was 65.3 percent for the fourth quarter of 2021 compared to 63.9 percent for the same quarter of 2020.
Verisign reported revenue of $1.33 billion for 2021, up 4.9 percent from 2020. Verisign reported net income of $785 million and diluted EPS of $7.00 for 2021, compared to net income of $815 million and diluted EPS of $7.07 in 2020. The operating margin for 2021 was 65.3 percent compared to 65.2 percent in 2020.
