Rick Schwartz aka the domain king has been talking a lot about his new venture Stud.com which launches very soon.
During a series of recent tweets Rick also shared a stat from his own domain name portfolio of 6500 domain names.
This year in Q1 his domain names received 1.7 Million Direct type ins that generated $40,000 USD in pay per click revenue.
That nearly covers all of ricks renewals in Q1 as he estimates his costs to hold his portfolio is around $60,000 USD per year.
Many people say parking is dead but if you have a strong portfolio with traffic it can still be very rewarding.
