Emodo Expands Leadership Team with New Chief Technology Officer and Chief Customer Officer

Industry veterans Kouros Esfahany and Naomi Kagan to spearhead tech innovation and brand relationships to accelerate company’s growth trajectory

Emodo, an Ericsson company providing high-impact audience, inventory and creative advertising solutions,  announced the appointment of Kouros Esfahany as its Chief Technology Officer and the elevation of Naomi Kagan to Chief Customer Officer.

Esfahany has more than 20 years of robust software development experience across enterprise management, ecommerce,and programmatic advertising. Prior to joining Emodo, Esfahany was the SVP of Engineering at FreeWheel (a Comcast company), where he oversaw the rapid creation of the company’s U.S. & EU Engineering Teams, led product development and contributed to overall strategy, market positioning, and client relationships. In his role, he spearheaded the integration of Beeswax DSP after acquisition while leading the rapid growth of AudienceXpress which offers advertisers scaled premium TV advertising across screens. A published author and holder of 14 U.S. patents, Esfahany previously held research and leadership roles at eBay, CA Technologies and Hewlett-Packard.

Kagan, former SVP of Customer Experience at Emodo has spent the last two years leading strategy and operations, partner management, and global operations at the company. In her new role, she will be responsible for scaling out a durable, data-driven foundation across the business to unlock the full potential of our employees and deliver exceptional customer experiences and outcomes.

Prior to Emodo, Kagan led revenue and ad operations at public companies LinkedIn, YuMe, and aQuantive, all of which were acquired, as well as leading a global service and operations organization for the Microsoft Media Network. She has also worked at a number of start-ups in the technology space, including CaaStle and Ensighten.

“Advancing Emodo’s growth trajectories is one of my top priorities as CCO,” said Kagan. “Over the past two years, I have led global operations and seen firsthand how Emodo continuously impresses customers and partners with our offerings. I look forward to expanding on my legacy here and collaborating with our dynamic and growing team.”
