National Data Center Day The Netherlands: ‘The Impact of Brexit’

In the Netherlands, several data centers will open their doors to the public tomorrow (June 11, 2019), to show people around and make them acquaintance with data center operations. It will give them some insights into the premises where many cloud and other ICT environments are being located. Data center operator maincubes decided to touch a special topic during this event: Brexit.

In joined cooperation with ICT branch association Nederland ICT, maincubes will provide visitors the unique opportunity to gain knowledge necessary to prepare businesses for Brexit. During meaningful sessions, various speakers will discuss the consequences of Brexit while there will be room for interactive input as well.

What Brexit will look like is still a big question mark for everyone, stated maincubes What is the status, what are the expectations, but above all, what should companies do with their data now? Alex de Joode, Public Affairs Manager at Nederland ICT, will explain what impact Brexit will have on businesses. He will also provide a number of steps to be taken when there is clarity with regard to Brexit.

During the seminar tomorrow June 11 at the maincubes Amsterdam AMS01 data center, Alex de Joode, Public Affairs Manager at Nederland ICT will explain what impact Brexit will have on businesses.

The National Data Center Day in the Netherlands is an initiative of Dutch Datacenter Association (DDA). During this day the data center branch organization will also release its annual ‘State of the Dutch Data Centers 2019 – Digital Awareness is Near’ report.

This market report will include new figures on the developments in the Dutch data center market over the past 12 months. The report will also be available for download as of tomorrow (for free) on DDA’s website: https://www.dutchdatacenters.nl/en/.
