.Org registry to donate $105,000 to organizations using .org domains.

Public Interest Registry, the registry that operates .org and other charitable domain names, has announced the return of the .ORG Impact Awards for a fourth year.

The organization will donate $105,000 in cash to the winning organizations.

This year’s categories include:

  • Health and Healing
  • Quality Education for All
  • Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • Environmental Stewardship
  • Hunger and Poverty
  • Community Building
  • Rising Star
  • .ORG of the Year

The categories are essentially the same as last year, with minor wording changes.

Each category winner will take home $10,000, and the .ORG of the Year will pick up an extra $25,000 on top of their category award for $35,000 total.

Nominees do not need to be non-profits but must use a .org domain name.

Nominations are open until June 29, and five finalists for each category will be named on September 20. Winners will be announced on November 15, 2022.
