Kate Buckley acquired Kate.co

About a week ago there were a bunch of one word .co that expired at GoDaddy. Most of these came from registrars based in the United Kingdom. The top price on the list was Kate.co at $8,400.

The domain name is now in the hands of domain broker Kate Buckley. Kate is forwarding the domain name to her LinkedIn page. Kate.com is owned by Digimedia and is just a parked page. The value on first word domain names in .com is very strong, other extensions are also finding their way to solid sales. Swetha from DNGear.com sold Scott.xyz, Nadia.xyz and a few others.

Congrats to Kate on a smart acquisition.
