Washington D.C. added and Seattle rescheduled.
ICANN has added two U.S. dates to its meetings calendar.
The domain overseer will host the ICANN77 Policy Forum in Washington D.C. from June 12-15, 2023. In addition to being the home of the U.S. government, both Verisign and Public Interest Registry are based in the city.
The group has also rescheduled Seattle for one of its meetings. The city was supposed to be the destination for a meeting last fall, but that was scuppered due to the pandemic.
Instead, ICANN is planning the ICANN82 Community Forum from March 8-13, 2025 in the city.
ICANN hopes to have its first in-person meeting since 2019 next month in The Hague. ICANN74 takes place June 13-16.
