DNJournal shared the big news of the sale of Marketing.com for a whopping $2.5 million dollars.
The sale was the joint effort of domain investor Larry Fischer and IP attorney Ari Goldberger.
It just so happens that we figured out who bought the domain: ColorArt, most likely.
According to their web site, ColorArt.com:
ColorArt (formerly Cenveo Commercial Print Division), one of the nation’s largest printers, delivers custom print, marketing, and logistics solutions to clients ranging from Fortune 100 companies to local and regional small businesses.
How did we deduce that?
Very simple: Marketing.com is on the same hosted IP address as ColorArt.com, along with several other related domains such as MasterPrinting.com.
In addition, Marketing.com and the other two web sites all use the Webflow CMS to build their content.
Congratulations to the buyer and the seller!
