Career Builder Drops 209 – Jobs.com Domain Names. –

Career Builder Jobs website

Career Builder LLC just dropped 209 Domain Names Below this week… All of these names ended in Jobs which makes sense as they are job-finding services, however, these domain names are clearly trademark violations, I am not sure 12 years ago when registered if Career Builder LLC, were working as an official partner of these entities listed below or if they saw the opportunity to use direct navigation and utilize the type-in traffic to redirect them to the Career Builder website.

Looking back at historical whois records, I can see that  Career Builder LLC had over 5000+ Domain Names in their portfolio, however, a lot went under privacy.

Who is CareerBuilder they are an employment website founded in 1995 and with offices in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia. In 2008, it had the largest market share among online employment websites in the United States, where it was founded. CareerBuilder.com provides labor market information, talent management software, and other recruitment-related services. The company is owned by investment firm Apollo Global Management.

I am not suggesting you register any of the domain names below due to obvious Trademark risks but it does make you wonder why so many people didn’t project their IP and let Career Builder LLC hold these domain names, likewise, why haven’t they registered themselves to protect their own brands.
