Brazilian micro-payment company Avante let the aged dot com from 1998 domain name expire and sell on GoDaddy.com for $35,006 USD.
The company appears to have acquired the domain name in the early part of 2010’s it developed the site but then around 2014 started using it as a forwarder to their cctld Avante.com.vc which is still live at present but appears to maybe have stopped trading as most of the content is outdated on the website.
I am struggling to confirm if the business has closed and hence why the domain name may have expired and dropped.
Congratulations to the buyer of Avante.com it’s a great domain name with some nice historical link juice too.
