Linxdatacenter Warsaw

EdgeConneX, a company specializing in global data center solutions at the edge of the network, has acquired Linxdatacenter’s facility in Warsaw, Poland. Headquartered in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, Linxdatacenter is a global provider of “high-end” colocation, cloud and connectivity solutions for businesses. Linxdatacenter operates its data centers since 2001 and runs businesses in Central and Eastern Europe, Russia, Asia and the Nordics.

sensitive requirements for Central and Eastern Europe. In addition, demand specifically in Poland would be driven by increased adoption of hybrid cloud, data regulations and the ability to be the gateway into neighboring countries.

Experts would predict Warsaw is poised to become one of Europe’s digital heavyweights, and the acquisition of Linxdatacenter Warsaw, a carrier neutral data center located at the heart of Warsaw, would enable customers to be part of a highly connected digital ecosystem.

Cages, Pods, Racks

The newly acquired data center by EdgeConneX offers the flexibility to support deployments ranging from single racks to large custom cages or pods and has the capability to scale to support future capacity expansion requirements. Via a diverse fiber path, customers can connect to the neighboring LIM-Building ecosystem.

“We are very excited to announce our expansion into Warsaw and to work with Linxdatacenter on a smooth transition to continue the high customer service levels already in place,” said Dick Theunissen, Managing Director, EMEA, EdgeConneX. “As we continue to expand globally, we are prepared to meet the diverse needs of our customers to enable them to deliver the fastest and most reliable cloud, content, network and other services to their customers.”

EdgeConneX’s market expansion in Europe will continue to be selective, based on specific customer demand that drives the company to particular markets. EdgeConneX would collaborate with its customers to define and enable their solutions by identifying where their edge needs to be deployed or built, selecting optimal locations, designing “premium” facilities and then “rapidly” deploying infrastructure, while also solving for their scalable power and connectivity requirements. From 100kws to 100MW’s, EdgeConneX can build any sized facility, in any market globally, to support any deployment for its customers.
