Colocation Provider Element Critical Appoints VP of Channels and Alliances

Element Critical, a U.S. colocation data center owner/operator formerly know as CentralColo, has announced the appointment of Jean-Marc Porson as Vice President, Channels and Alliances.

Element-Critical-Jean-Marc-PorsonJean-Marc Porson will launch and lead Element Critical’s new, multi-tiered Strategic Partner Program (SPP).

He has planned to cultivate and manage strategic alliances with industry leaders such as Bridgepointe Technologies and drive channel programs that feature a diverse mix of brokers, sales agents, technology partners, and systems integrators.

With the launch of Element Critical’s SPP, Mr. Porson aims at providing a customer-centric focus for partners and solutions tailored to customers’ exacting business requirements.

“Our goal is to build a leading channel program for the IT infrastructure and data centers services industry,” said Jean-Marc Porson. “We will combine industry-leading compensation and account protection with unparalleled support and reporting, but more importantly, the program will be built on a foundation of integrity, trust and respect for the channel community.”

Prior to joining Element Critical, Mr. Porson was a senior member of the channel sales team at QTS, a publicly traded REIT. During his eight-year tenure, he was instrumental in building the company’s channel partner programs, including development of training and support resources, compensation and support models, contracts, launch of a web-based partner portal integrated into the company’s CRM and accounting systems, as well as the development and implementation of partner performance measurement, retention and incentive plans.

Prior to QTS, Mr. Porson spent three years at Internap where he oversaw channel development and indirect sales. In addition, Porson has previously held senior channel and alliance positions with In-Store Broadcasting Network, Software AG, Newton Park, and MindSpring Enterprises. He studied Business and Marketing at Georgia State University and lives with his family in Atlanta, Ga.
