Optii Announces Four Top Priorities for Hoteliers Ahead of Q4

Optii is providing insights on key priorities for hotel operations to meet the strong hospitality demand predicted for Q4

Optii Solutions, the leading cloud-based hotel operations software, announced key priorities for hoteliers ahead of strong forecasted Q4. According to Skift, STR data shows RevPAR growth is quickly rebounding in the top 25 US markets. Hotel performance has been improving at a significantly faster pace in leisure-driven markets outside of the top 25, but performance in the larger cities is starting to look more typical with a balance of business and leisure travelers again.

As we look ahead to the remainder of the year, hoteliers need to put in careful consideration to prepare for demand. Optii’s top four considerations include:

  • Family guests – the holiday season typically sees increases in leisure travel for families around Thanksgiving and Christmas, so hoteliers need to consider planning additional time for longer cleans with this profile
  • Returning business travelers – STR data has shown that business travel continues to grow steadily with increased demand for weekday stays. This will mean ensuring the right staff and rotas are available when occupancy peaks
  • Optimizing lean teams during busy periods – faced with labor shortages hoteliers need to explore technology and automation to help lean teams do more with less, without compromising on quality
  • Always keep the guest front of mind – ADR continues to grow against a backdrop of a fall in income for many travelers. This means that guests will have high expectations for their stay. In a world where online reviews can make a real difference for hoteliers, making sure that guest requests can be served to the highest standards and guest needs are met quickly and efficiently is critical

Katherine Grass, CEO of Optii Solutions said, “After the summer boom, hoteliers can start to look forward to the last few months of the year and prepare their operations accordingly. This is where technology can really have a big impact. Optii provides a range of products which help hoteliers assure all aspects of their hotel operations are optimized and working efficiently. Optii is the only solution on the market to deploy predictive technology that maps daily room attendant routes based on guest profiles and hotel needs. This type of automation is essential for hoteliers facing staff shortages and increasing guest expectations going into the holiday season.”
