Auth0 Adds Three Key SaaS Leaders to Its Board of Directors

Industry veterans Sue Barsamian, Sameer Dholakia, and Simon Parmett join Board

Auth0, the identity platform for application teams, announced the addition of three industry leaders to its Board of Directors: Sue Barsamian, former Chief Sales and Marketing Officer for Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Software; Sameer Dholakia, former CEO of SendGrid; and Simon Parmett, former CEO of MuleSoft. Barsamian, Dholakia, and Parmett each have deep technology and SaaS industry experience and will play a key role in guiding Auth0 on its next chapter of growth.

Sue Barsamian has more than three decades of marketing, sales, product, and business operations experience in both early-stage and Fortune 50 organizations including HPE and Mercury Interactive. She also serves as a board member for Box, Gainsight, NortonLifeLock, Xactly Corp, and formerly Segment (acquired by Twilio in November 2020).
Sameer Dholakia most recently served as the CEO of SendGrid, was instrumental in SendGrid’s successful IPO in November 2017, and led the company through its $3 billion acquisition by Twilio in February 2019. He has more than two decades experience in scaling high-growth companies including VMLogix, Inc. (acquired by Citrix Systems), Citrix Systems, SendGrid, and Twilio. Dholakia also serves as a board member for PagerDuty.
Simon Parmett is a seasoned leader with three decades of experience leading global companies including Agile Software, Oracle, and MuleSoft. Most recently, Parmett was CEO and General Manager of MuleSoft, and was previously President of Field Operations where he designed and led MuleSoft’s growth to over a billion dollars in revenue. He was also instrumental in shaping MuleSoft’s successful IPO in 2017 and subsequent $6.7 billion acquisition by Salesforce in 2018.

These new appointments add to the existing levels of tech industry leadership and experience in Auth0’s Board of Directors. Jennifer Ceran, former CFO of Smartsheet, joined the Board in May 2020.
